Kyle comes to get advice from Batman on how to be a hero. He manages to botch The Caped Crusader and Robin’s attempted apprehension of The Checkered Gang quartet much to The Dark Knight's dismay. Bruce ignores him. However, Tim gives him some words of encouragement. Kyle chides himself for being a such a screw up, as Alan Scott shows up. He helps The Golden-Age Green Lantern save his wife, Molly, and in return gets the advice he originally sought. Kyle continues on his journey as he departs.

In another galaxy, a Darkstar gets killed by a mysterious attacker.
